Here's my favorite git feature that no one knows about:

You can reference commits using the commit message instead of the hash. The ":/" syntax accepts a regex that matches any part of the commit message, returning the youngest matching commit.

No one has ever pair-programmed with Chuck Norris and lived to tell about it.

Why The Fuck is allowed to charge SEK75 to collect SEK4 in import VAT to be paid to government?? SEK75 in administration fee for a SEK15 value (incl shipping from China to Sweden).
And one doesn't have any choices. It is absurd, but I bet it is a cash cow...

I have encountered more image descriptions on Mastodon in 24 hours than I have in Twitter in a couple of years. Seriously. I'm not exaggerating.
As a blind person, this means a lot to me. If you read this and you describe your images, thank you so, so, so much on behalf of all of us. If you don't, now you know you'll be helping random Internet strangers make sense of your posts by typing in a few more words than usual.

Should Political Cartoonists Ever Self-Censor?

From Islam to gender identity, it turns out some topics are off-limits for political cartoonists. Last year, The Morning Star’s @ArtistBristol was cancelled for one of her own cartoons. Now, she’s questioning the entire culture of self-censorship in media, and who satirists are allowed to criticize.

Here is my own contribution to the #RMS debate, about the open letter and #fsf and so on.

Comment on the open letter to "remove RMS", based on the GNU Kind Communications Guidelines

This is not another escalation, it's something else. It's about how we communicate. I thought a lot about it. Hopefully this can reach some of the people who signed the open letter.

Boosts welcome.

Would you imagine in 2019 that we will have to deal with such fucking Chinese-totalitarian ideas here in the EU?

And no, the fact that you have to vaccinate is not a problem. The problem is the centralized system of such sensitive data and the social credit style surveillance that comes with it.

And really, if you think that such surveillance is good, because of safety – you are a virus much more dangerous than SARS-CoV-2 – the virus on human privacy and human dignity.

It is remarkable that advocates are the first ones to exclude and suppress people, especially those with diverse thoughts.
