I was probably ~15 years old when I managed to burn my armpit with a soldering iron and thereafter had a decent respect for the "where is it hot?"

I've burned myself, but never in the armpit.

Imagine holding the iron with the right hand in front of you. Then seeing and reaching out with the left hand over to the right side of you. Can't recall what it was I reached for, maybe solder, maybe a plies or other tool.

The first reaction was from the foul smell. Pain didn't come until a minute later.
