It can't be a coincidence that
"Öring" in Swedish and "Herring" in English is pronounced very similarly.
But "Öring" means "Trout", and the "Brook Trout" (on picture) is a "Röding" (a concatenated "Röd" and "Öring", i.e. Red Trout)... so... Red Herring 🤗
