Hey peeps! Do me a huge flavor? I moonlight with the immensely amazing Open Source Hardware Association, and we have a new baby mastodon account. Follow and share it? We know our folks are on here, and would love to reach them.

"GitHub is wonderful now but fundamentally proprietary, same as Google Groups, and FOSS software forges like sourcehut are making great progress. Moving development to FOSS software forges might happen within the next decade and it will be easier if the non-development community isn’t also scattered in the process."

I'm trying to not be too commercial over here, but the BBQ20KBD is back in stock at Lectronz and Tindie and I think that's pretty cool ;)

Can we hold those responsible to account for the War Crimes in #Afganistan. .? In #Libya ..? In #Syria ..? In #Palestine ..? And given that there over 400.000 civilians dead in #Yemen and millions suffering from malnutrition, can we hold to account Western leaders responsible...?
RT @wallacemick: Everyone who is alleged to have committed a War Crime should be held to account. Now that we're looking at War in Ukraine, can we also look at all the others. It's 20 yea…

@Hyolobrika @alex Sure. Why wouldn't I? Every time there's a free and open debate, my side always wins in a landslide. Even under conditions of government-sponsored censorship at the cost of billions of dollars, my side is still winning the war of ideas online. Woke crap only becomes dominant in an intellectual environment of absolute repression like a university (where you mouth the words of your professor or you get an F).

You don't need to be a libertarian to believe in free speech.

Docker apologizes for trying to pull a bait and switch that people pushed back against hard enough for them to reconsider:

Fuck #Docker.

Projects need to self-host their container registries. You can get a perfectly cromulent server for a container registry for the money Docker asks for Teams.

Also, I saw suggestions #FOSS projects move to GitHub Container Registry. "Hey, we just got bitten in the arse by centralization, let's move to another centralized service!" 🤦‍♀️
